Washington, DC requires two really cool things pertaining to trans folks and restrooms: 1. Public places with single-stall restrooms have to mark them as gender-neutral; 2. In places with gendered multi-stall restrooms, personnel must respect your decision to use the restroom that best matches your gender identity.
